Hyundai photovoltaic panels with shingle PERC technology

Hyundai Heavy Industries engaged in the renewable energy sector since 2004 and in the production of photovoltaic cells since 2007, founded the Hyundai Energy Solution in 2016, thus starting the massive and worldwide production and export of photovoltaic cells and modules guaranteed up to 25 years.


M6 PERC Shingled cells

Hyundai uses Shingled technology with very high efficiency M6 cells and excellent performance in all weather conditions for its photovoltaic panels in the VG 415W, VI 490W and DI 655W series.

The overlapping “shingle” structure gives the panel greater efficiency with a lower risk of hot spots by reducing the amount of current for each individual circuit and avoiding overheating, thus ensuring greater performance at high temperatures.

Ideal in partial shade conditions

Thanks to the particular structure and design of the circuits, the Shingled technology allows optimal production even when the panel is affected by partial obstruction.

Hyundai HG series is a monocrystalline photovoltaic module that uses G12 cells with PERC Shingled Technology, which reduces the cells gap by increasing the efficiency of the photovoltaic modules, thanks to this technology reach an efficiency of 21.4%.

Resistant and quality

The modules in question are equipped with a reinforced frame and tempered glass and are also characterized by an important resistance to corrosion. This resistance, together with the anti-LID and anti-PID functions, allows the manufacturer to guarantee the product and its performance for 25 years.


Suitable for extreme weather conditions, certified to withstand a front pressure of 5,400 Pa.
