Pylontech batteries, simplicity and modularity in high and low voltage

High-voltage lithium battery – H48050

These batteries to be inserted in rack cabinets stand out for their simplicity and modularity; in fact, they are characterized by 2.4 kWh battery modules, which can be accumulated according to the customer’s energy needs, thus being able to adapt to storage systems with small and large capacities.

Specifically, for single-phase systems, the minimum capacity to be installed is 4.8 kWh (2 modules), while for three-phase 9.6 kWh (4 modules), the maximum number usually being 8 pieces for 19.2 kWh in single-phase and 24.00 kWh with 10 batteries on three-phase.

Advantages of lithium technology

Lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) technology has many other advantages:

  • Longer life cycle: also exceeds 6000 cycles, which corresponds to about 11 years of operation.
  • More stable and safer internal molecular structure, thus allowing an increase in combustion temperature to 600°C compared to 300°C relative to NMC (Nickel-Manganese-Cobalt) and LCO (Lithium-Cobalt-Oxide)
  • Ease of capacity expansion of storage systems that can achieve high amounts of storable energy

Low-voltage battery – US3000

Pylontech’s US3000 lithium battery, is the solution for low-voltage (48V) systems.

This battery type also manages to provide simplicity and modularity, guaranteeing a minimum capacity of 3.55 kWh for all single-phase inverters.

As with the high-voltage batteries, H48050, the US3000 have the same life cycle and technical features, such as molecular structure and compact, modular design.

By their construction and operation in low-voltage batteries, the BMS is integrated, and they can therefore independently manage and monitor cell status, voltage, current and temperature.

It can also function as an overload and overcurrent protection system ensuring maximum functionality and safety.
