The Jinko Solar SunGiga G2 Plus 520kWh is a cabinet battery energy storage system for the large commercial and industrial segment, with liquid cooling. The SunGiga G2 520kWh adopts LFP (LiFePO4) cells of 314 Ah with a nominal energy of 522 kWh, a battery voltage of 832 V and an operating range from 728 to 936 V.
On the AC side the system provides a 400 V output voltage on a three-phase grid, with 50/60 Hz frequency and total harmonic distortion below 3%; according to the manufacturer the AC power is configurable at 125 kW (4-hour system) or 250 kW (2-hour system), allowing switching between grid-connected, off-grid and microgrid operation.
Operates in a temperature range from -30 to +55 °C and up to 3000 m altitude, with IP55 ingress protection and liquid cooling that keeps the temperature difference between cells contained.
Communication is via CAN, RS485 and Ethernet. The SunGiga G2 Plus 520kWh measures 1430 × 1920 × 2400 mm, weighs about 5000 kg and supports up to 6 units in parallel for modular capacity expansion, with a manufacturer-declared service life of 8000 cycles.
