Hyundai HJT : latest generation modules

Hyundai has introduced the latest HeteroMaxTM Premium N-Type HJT (Hetero Junction Technology Solar Cell) photovoltaic modules in its range, which utilises SHINGLED technology for cell assembly.

Hyundai HJT is a high-efficiency (23.04%) bifacial and monocrystalline module: the cells have excellent light absorption with improved performance even in low irradiation situations.

Advantages compared to TOPCon technology:

  • Smaller dimensions 1722x1134x30: for the same yield, the area saved is around 2.2%.
  • Up to 30% increase in solar cell efficiency due to excellent light absorption
  • The temperature coefficient for power is extremely low (-0.26%): this allows high output to be maintained even as the temperature rises

Double-glazed design

HeteroMaxTM features a tempered double-glazed design to prevent corrosion of the inner material, and a reinforced frame. The bifacial structure with HJT technology leads to a much higher bifaciality coefficient, generating 2%/4% more power than PERC cells.

Guaranteed durability and reliability

Hyundai HJT is a long-lasting, high-performance product with a linear performance guarantee of 30 years (it has a degradation rate of about 1% in the first year, reaching a minimum producibility of 88% at year 30)

LID (Light Induced Degradation) and PID (Potential Induced Degradation) are strictly eliminated to ensure a higher yield over the life of the module
