Fronius Verto Plus: three-phase hybrid inverters from 15 to 33.3 kW

The Fronius Verto Plus 15–33.3 kW range expands the portfolio of three-phase hybrid inverters designed for commercial applications, large residential properties and agricultural installations requiring high levels of flexibility and energy resilience.

It is an ideal solution for both new installations and the revamping of existing PV systems.

Design flexibility: 3 high-current MPPTs and dual inputs

The inverter is engineered to handle the latest generation of high-power PV modules and installations with multiple roof orientations:

  • High-current management: with a maximum input current of 28 A per MPPT, fully available even when using only one of the two string inputs, the Verto Plus is compatible with high-power modules based on M10, G12 and G12R cells, helping to prevent current clipping even under peak solar irradiation.
  • Multi-MPPT concept: the architecture features 3 independent MPPT trackers, allowing different orientations and tilt angles to be managed efficiently while optimising overall PV system yield.

Advanced backup and Backup Power Boost

The Fronius Verto Plus integrates advanced backup functionality to ensure greater energy continuity during off-grid operation:

  • Three-phase Full Backup: in the event of a power outage, when combined with a Fronius battery storage system such as Reserva or Reserva Pro, the inverter can supply the entire building with backup power up to its rated output.
  • Backup Power Boost: to handle critical loads and high starting currents, the inverter can deliver between 1.5 and 2 times its rated power for 10 seconds at 400 V, effectively supporting equipment such as electric motors and heat pump compressors.

The Fronius ecosystem enables fast integration with leading battery storage solutions while simplifying system and energy data management.

Integrated data logger and web server

The device comes with an integrated data logger and web server as standard, enabling fast commissioning and continuous system monitoring via the Solar.web portal, without the need for additional hardware.

The integrated Dynamic Peak Manager algorithm continuously optimises PV system performance by detecting shading at string level and adjusting operation accordingly, helping to maximise energy yield.

Thermal management and safety

System reliability is supported by active thermal management and pre-installed hardware protection features.

Active Cooling Technology

The forced-air cooling system enables the inverter to deliver its full rated power even at ambient temperatures of up to 60°C, while helping to protect internal components from thermal stress.

Fronius Arc Guard

The Fronius Arc Guard arc detection and interruption technology (AFCI), included as standard, detects potentially dangerous DC arcs and interrupts them, helping to reduce the risk of fire on the DC side.

SPD protection

The inverter includes Type 1+2 surge protection devices (SPD) on the DC side and Type 2 SPD on the AC side, pre-installed and monitored by the system.
