SolarEdge CSS-OD 107 is an energy storage solution for commercial and industrial photovoltaic systems, designed to provide flexible and efficient management of the energy generated and consumed on site.
Each battery cabinet provides a nominal capacity of 107 kWh and can be paired with a 29.9 kW or 49.9 kW battery inverter. The availability of different power ratings allows designers and EPCs to size the system according to the site’s energy profile and specific application requirements.
The modular architecture enables energy storage configurations scalable up to 2.1 MWh, making the CSS-OD 107 suitable for C&I installations of different sizes.
Smart energy management
Integration with SolarEdge ONE for C&I enables coordinated management of PV generation, battery storage, site consumption and energy exchange with the grid.
CSS-OD 107 can support a range of energy management strategies, including maximising PV self-consumption, peak shaving, electricity tariff optimisation and management of grid import and export limits.
The system is also backup-ready for critical loads, extending the potential applications of energy storage in commercial and industrial installations.
System design and installation
CSS-OD 107 can be sized using SolarEdge Designer, allowing the battery storage system to be integrated into the overall PV system design.
The system is supplied pre-assembled and factory-tested, helping to simplify on-site installation and commissioning. The solution is designed for indoor and outdoor installation and features an IP54 protection rating.
Integrated safety
SolarEdge CSS-OD 107 features a multi-layer safety architecture, with dedicated systems for battery monitoring and protection.
The integration of hardware, energy management software and SolarEdge tools enables the system to be managed within a single ecosystem, from system design and commissioning through to ongoing monitoring and operation.
