Reduce energy bills with SolarEdge ONE

SolarEdge, a global leader in smart energy technology, introduced SolarEdge ONE, the innovative energy optimization (software) system that automatically manages the home’s energy in real time to maximize electricity savings and extend battery life in backup conditions.

Real-time production and consumption optimization

Customised according to the needs and preferences of the homeowner, SolarEdge ONE supports different types of tariff scenarios (fixed tariff, multi-hourly tariff and dynamic tariff) and integration with third-party devices can potentially accelerate ROI through real-time data analysis and highly efficient decision-making.

This innovative solution makes optimal decisions on photovoltaic production and consumption every day. This is achieved through intelligent algorithms based on the combination of external data (daily utility tariffs and weather forecasts) on-site data (historical photovoltaic production, consumption, user preferences) and sophisticated algorithms to optimize energy production and consumption.

Maximizing the use of excess photovoltaics

The system is designed to maximise the use of surplus photovoltaics during peak price periods, resulting in greater savings. In addition, unnecessary and costly site visits can be reduced through remote troubleshooting with real-time alerts and reports.

The solution includes a local on-site controller, which provides integration with compatible third-party devices, advanced management features and the SolarEdge ONE Manager web platform to monitor and manage PV generation, electric vehicle charging and load management.

SolarEdge ONE Manager & SolarEdge Local Controller

It is possible to monitor the entire system and direct the site’s photovoltaic production, electric vehicle charging and load optimisation via SolarEdge ONE Manager, a web application that allows visibility down to the PV module level.

SolarEdge Local Controller is designed to allow integration with weather sensors, energy meters, cellular modems and other devices that can help achieve optimal system performance and communication.

The functionality of SolarEdge ONE is expected to be gradually implemented during 2024.
