The new SolarEdge Nexis three-phase inverter, available with power ratings from 8 to 20 kW, uses advanced silicon carbide (SiC) technology to deliver high energy conversion efficiency at both maximum power output and under low-load conditions.

Its robust construction and heat dissipation system are designed to support long-term reliability. Fanless operation ensures exceptionally low noise levels, making it suitable for residential installations.

Particular attention has been paid to electrical safety and cybersecurity, with advanced protection technologies against arc faults, overheating and overvoltage, alongside cybersecurity features designed to protect data and communications.

SolarEdge Nexis Battery: modular and scalable energy storage

The SolarEdge Nexis Battery completes the platform with a modular energy storage system, configurable from 5 to 20 kWh per battery stack and expandable up to 80 kWh per inverter.

The battery modules, known as Battery Blocks, are designed to accommodate different installation requirements, both indoors and outdoors, thanks to their compact design and robust construction.

Simple-Click™ technology enables quick module assembly through an integrated connection mechanism, eliminating the need for separate cabling between individual blocks and simplifying installation.

The integrated battery optimiser also enables independent management of each module, supporting energy efficiency, thermal management and continued system operation even in the event of a fault affecting an individual module.

Backup and intelligent energy management

SolarEdge Nexis supports backup power of up to 20 kW, helping maintain the electricity supply to the property during grid outages, depending on the system configuration.

AI-based battery management modes optimise the use of solar energy by intelligently determining when to store it, use it or draw electricity from the grid.

The system also supports energy management strategies based on dynamic electricity tariffs, helping to maximise self-consumption, reduce energy costs and improve energy independence.
