The GoodWe BAT-C 208.9 and 261.2 kWh series comprises high-voltage energy storage systems developed for commercial and industrial (C&I) applications requiring high storage capacity, advanced safety and effective thermal management.
The range includes the GW208.9-BAT-LCD-G10, with a nominal capacity of 208.9 kWh, and the GW261.2-BAT-LCD-G10, offering a nominal capacity of 261.2 kWh.
The nominal voltage is 665.6 V for the 208.9 kWh version and 832 V for the 261.2 kWh version.
The BAT-C systems use 314 Ah battery cells and are designed to deliver a cycle life of at least 10,000 cycles, making them suitable for the intensive operating requirements of C&I energy storage applications.
Liquid cooling and thermal management
The series features an intelligent liquid cooling system, combined with real-time cell-level monitoring.
Advanced thermal management helps maintain stable and uniform operating conditions and supports battery operation across a temperature range from -25 °C to +55 °C.
Multi-level safety
GoodWe BAT-C incorporates a multi-level safety architecture designed to prevent, detect and manage potential abnormal operating conditions.
The system includes real-time gas and battery pack monitoring, an integrated fire suppression system and aerosol fire suppression devices at both battery pack and cabinet level.
The cabinet also provides up to 3 hours of fire resistance and features an IP55 protection rating, making the system suitable for the requirements of outdoor C&I installations.
Scalable energy storage for C&I applications
When combined with GoodWe ET 100 hybrid inverters and the STS – Static Transfer Switch, the BAT-C series enables integrated and scalable solutions for a range of energy management strategies.
Key applications include:
- backup power supply;
- peak shaving and peak load reduction;
- optimised load management;
- increased self-consumption of solar PV energy;
- microgrid applications.
The ability to expand storage capacity makes the GoodWe BAT-C series particularly suitable for commercial and industrial photovoltaic systems with different energy profiles and storage requirements.
