GoodWe ET 40-50 kW – three-phase hybrid inverters for C&I

The GoodWe ET 40–50 kW hybrid inverters are high-voltage three-phase solutions designed for commercial and industrial (C&I) photovoltaic systems. Available in 40 and 50 kW power ratings, they feature up to 4 MPPTs and enable integrated management of PV generation, battery storage and loads according to different energy management strategies.

  • Rated power of 40 and 50 kW
  • 3 or 4 MPPTs with 2 strings per MPPT
  • HV batteries with a 200–800 V voltage range
  • Self-consumption, peak shaving and Time of Use management
  • Parallel connection and backup operation via STS

The GoodWe ET 40–50 kW series comprises high-voltage three-phase hybrid inverters designed for photovoltaic systems with battery storage in commercial and industrial applications.

The GW40K-ET-10 and GW50K-ET-10 models, with rated power outputs of 40 and 50 kW respectively, integrate PV generation, battery storage and intelligent load management within a single system.

On the PV side, the GW40K-ET-10 supports a maximum input power of 60 kW, while the GW50K-ET-10 supports up to 75 kW, allowing DC oversizing of up to 150%.

The maximum input voltage is 1,000 V, with an MPPT operating voltage range from 165 to 850 V. The 40 kW model features 3 MPPTs, while the 50 kW model is equipped with 4 MPPTs, both with two strings per MPPT.

On the battery side, the inverters support high-voltage lithium-ion batteries with a 200–800 V operating range, a nominal voltage of 500 V and a maximum continuous charge/discharge current of 100 A. Maximum charge/discharge power reaches 44 kW for the GW40K-ET-10 and 55 kW for the GW50K-ET-10.

The available operating modes enable the optimisation of self-consumption, peak shaving, Time of Use and load management. Multiple inverters can also be connected in parallel, allowing system power and storage capacity to be expanded.

When combined with the GoodWe STS – Static Transfer Switch, the ET series can support backup operation and on-grid/off-grid configurations.

The IP66 protection rating, integrated Type II DC SPDs and optional AFCI contribute to system safety and reliability, including in outdoor C&I applications.
