Sungrow SG 3.0/3.6/4.0/5.0/6.0 RS – 2 MPPT


The SG 3.0/3.6/4.0/5.0/6.0 RS string inverters differ from each other for the maximum output power which varies from 3kW up to 6kW, Sungrow has designed this product for domestic use, it is an inverter single-phase capable of ensuring high efficiency and quick and easy installation.

It also allows intelligent management through 24/7 online monitoring and a high level of security thanks to the implementation of protection systems.

Sungrow SG 3.0/3.6/4.0/5.0/6.0 RS is compatible with high-power PV modules and with bifacial modules, this guarantees a high yield.

Thanks to its compatibility with the PID function, the wear of the PV panels will greatly decrease and will allow the photovoltaic modules to be preserved in the long term.

The high efficiency is allowed by a lower and wider start-up MPPT voltage, this allows the energy generated by the photovoltaic modules to be used for several hours during the day.

With this family of inverters, Sungrow allows intelligent management of the device thanks to a fast communication network, making it possible to monitor data in real-time at any time via the solar cloud platform.

With these products, it allows the customer a simple and intuitive installation thanks to a special plug and play system on the AC side, which allows reducing assembly costs.

The structure of the product in question has been designed to be light and to maximize the dissipation of heat from the inverter.

Sungrow also aims for safety by implementing a type II surge arrester for DC and AC, an arc fault circuit breaker (AFCI) and a PV string current monitoring system, it also features other types of protection visible in the datasheet of the product.


The offline configuration and commissioning of the inverter take place via the ISolarCloud monitoring platform.


Inside the package, there is a Winet-S, a plug and play device capable of allowing communication both via ethernet and via WLAN.
