High configuration flexibility
BYD Power-Box TH5-15K inverters are equipped with extremely versatile MPPTs. In fact, the start-up voltage is only 180 V, while the maximum manageable current is 18 A per input. This allows for high configuration flexibility, even with modules with larger cell sizes. Moreover, the potential for oversizing is up to 150% of the nominal power.
Advanced protections and backup function
AFCI and type II DC and AC SPDs are integrated on-board, providing enhanced system safety.
These inverters also have a dedicated backup output for priority loads, which will remain powered even in the event of a grid blackout.
During both on-grid and off-grid (backup) operation, the inverter allows for power unbalancing across the three-phase AC output up to 100 % of the nominal power.
Smart integration and monitoring
BYD inverters are equipped with communication solutions (WiFi, LAN, RS485) and offer continuous monitoring and OTA updates, ensuring complete control of the system.
