The Sungrow PowerKeeper Series is a C&I energy storage solution developed for commercial and industrial installations requiring high configuration flexibility, energy continuity and advanced performance management.
The solution is based on the “Ace 007, Ace Profit” concept, which identifies the key advantages of the Sungrow platform: 0 Waste thanks to the modular design, 0 Outage thanks to the integrated ATS, and 7 Ups through comprehensive optimisation across the installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, safety and system profitability phases.
The system consists of ST050-250CF battery modules with a nominal capacity of 12.48 kWh and the SH125CX hybrid inverter, enabling configurations from 50 kWh up to 1,000 kWh according to the energy requirements of the application. The modular architecture allows the installed capacity to be adapted to the actual consumption profile of the end user, optimising the initial investment and enabling future expansion.
The modular configuration also simplifies logistics and installation processes. The system can be supplied with a pre-assembled 50 kWh stack, reducing installation times and accelerating on-site deployment, while individual battery modules provide greater flexibility for system configuration and future capacity upgrades.
For applications requiring power continuity, PowerKeeper integrates an ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) that enables a transition to off-grid mode within ≤10 ms, ensuring continuous power supply to connected loads.
The platform is designed for both indoor and outdoor installations thanks to its IP66 protection rating, C5 corrosion resistance and operating temperature range from -20 °C to +50 °C. The system also provides enhanced protection against harsh environmental conditions, including resistance to immersion in up to 50 cm of water.
System safety is ensured through multi-level protection with monitoring from the individual cell level through to the complete system. The control technology includes electrical and thermal monitoring, as well as advanced diagnostics, improving reliability, operational safety and system lifetime.
PowerKeeper integrates advanced Energy Management System (EMS) functions to automatically optimise energy flows according to photovoltaic generation, consumption profiles and grid conditions. The system supports applications including PV + ESS, peak shaving, energy arbitrage, backup power, microgrids and EV charging infrastructure integration, contributing to reduced energy costs and maximising the value of stored energy.
