The Sungrow SG125CX-P3<\/strong> is a 125 kW three-phase string inverter<\/strong> developed to meet the requirements of commercial and industrial (C&I) photovoltaic systems<\/strong>, where design flexibility, efficiency, safety and ease of management are key factors.<\/p>\n

The Sungrow solution combines 10 independent MPPTs<\/strong>, an input current of up to 40 A per MPPT<\/strong>, a maximum efficiency of 98.5%<\/strong> and advanced protection and diagnostic functions. These features enable PV professionals to manage medium- to large-scale system configurations and integrate the latest generation of high-power PV modules.<\/p>\n

125 kW and 10 MPPTs for greater design flexibility<\/h2>\n

On the DC side, the Sungrow SG125CX-P3<\/strong> supports a maximum recommended PV input power of 198 kWp<\/strong>, with a maximum input voltage of 1,100 V<\/strong> and an MPPT operating voltage range from 180 to 1,000 V.<\/p>\n

The 10 independent MPPTs<\/strong>, each supporting two strings, provide greater flexibility in managing PV arrays with different orientations, irradiation conditions or system configurations.<\/p>\n

The maximum input current reaches 40 A per MPPT<\/strong>, supporting compatibility with the high-power, high-current PV modules<\/strong> increasingly used in C&I installations.<\/p>\n

High efficiency even at high temperatures<\/h2>\n

The SG125CX-P3 achieves a maximum efficiency of 98.5%<\/strong> and a European efficiency of 98.3%.<\/p>\n

One of its distinctive features is the SG ECOOLING\u00ae forced-air cooling system<\/strong>, designed to maintain high performance even under demanding ambient temperature conditions.<\/p>\n

According to Sungrow, the inverter can operate at full power at temperatures of up to 50 \u00b0C<\/strong>, an important advantage for commercial and industrial PV systems installed in high-temperature environments, where thermal management can have a significant impact on overall system performance.<\/p>\n

Simplified diagnostics and maintenance<\/h2>\n

For C&I systems, reducing the time required for Operation & Maintenance (O&M)<\/strong> activities can have a direct impact on operating costs and system availability.<\/p>\n

The Sungrow SG125CX-P3 integrates advanced string and insulation monitoring functions, helping to identify potential faults and streamline troubleshooting activities.<\/p>\n

It also features a self-cleaning system designed to reduce the need for manual cleaning and simplify long-term maintenance.<\/p>\n

The iSolarCloud<\/a><\/strong> platform also enables system monitoring and management, centralising key operational information.<\/p>\n

Advanced DC-side safety<\/h2>\n

Particular attention has also been paid to PV system safety.<\/p>\n

The SG125CX-P3 inverter integrates AFCI 3.0+<\/strong> for arc-fault detection and intelligent string-level disconnection<\/strong>, designed to quickly identify and isolate potential faults on the DC side.<\/p>\n

Integrated protection functions also include overvoltage, reverse polarity, short-circuit and ground fault protection, together with string current monitoring and PID Recovery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
