It combines two different kinds of cooling systems: <strong>air cooling<\/strong> with <strong>liquid cooling<\/strong>, which automatically starts when the temperature exceeds a certain threshold.<\/p>\n<p>This advanced thermal management system optimizes energy consumption and extends the battery life.<\/p>\n<h2>LiFePO4 battery modules<\/h2>\n<p>The system is equipped with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>lithium iron phosphate <\/strong>(LiFePO4) battery modules with a 280 Ah capacity<\/li>\n<li>a <strong>Power Conversion System <\/strong>(PCS) that operates at <strong>400V<\/strong>, offering a charge and discharge power of 108 kW (0.5C). This flexibility allows the system to adapt to various applications, including peak shaving, self-consumption, and time-shifting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>High safety standards<\/h2>\n<p>In terms of safety, the new BESS solution from Huawei features an <strong>IP55 protection rating<\/strong>, making it resistant to dust and water splashes, even in outdoor environments.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the system is designed to prevent oxygen from entering the battery pack, reducing the risk of internal fires. If combustible gases are generated, they are automatically expelled, preventing combustion or explosions inside the cabinet.<\/p>\n<h2>Communication system<\/h2>\n<p>The system communicates via <strong>Ethernet <\/strong>or<strong> fiber optic connections<\/strong>, making it easy to integrate with existing company infrastructures.
