{"id":69599,"date":"2022-05-24T16:57:07","date_gmt":"2022-05-24T14:57:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vpsolar.com\/?p=69599"},"modified":"2022-06-20T11:37:13","modified_gmt":"2022-06-20T09:37:13","slug":"tadiran-group-secures-contract-for-600mwh-storage-systems","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vpsolar.com\/en\/tadiran-group-secures-contract-for-600mwh-storage-systems\/","title":{"rendered":"Tadiran Group secures contract for 600MWh storage systems"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Treviso May 24.<\/em> Aviem, a company belonging to the Tadiran Group, to which VP Solar is also a member, has entered into a strategic contract with a major player for the supply of <strong>storage systems of about 600MWh<\/strong> for a total amount of more than<strong> $130 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Aviem&#8217;s important achievement is the result of the company&#8217;s experience (operating for more than 50 years) and <strong>leadership<\/strong> position in the field of emergency power systems (UPS), frequency converters, stand-alone systems, and battery charging (including for electric cars).<\/p>\n<p>The storage systems provided by Tadiran Group will support <strong>photovoltaic systems<\/strong> for the Israeli power grid and for micro-grid projects in the country; in <strong>addition to the supply<\/strong>, Aviem will also provide service related to the storage systems, including <strong>preventive maintenance<\/strong> for a period of 5 years.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Moshe Mamrud, CEO and major shareholder of Tadiran, said that <em>&#8220;We are proud to cooperate with a strategic partner in a market with huge potential like the storage market.
