The European Union has set itself the goal of eliminating CO2 emissions by 2050<\/strong> and set an intermediate step for 2030 to reduce climate-altering emissions by at least 55% (with reference to the base value of 1990), of here a series of measures called \u201cFit for 55\u201d.<\/p>\n

Considering the reduction already achieved by Italy in recent years, the goal translates into a reduction in emissions to about 216 Mt\/year of CO2 equivalent and, given the prevalence of emissions in transport, mobility plays a key role.[vc_row equal_height=”yes” content_placement=”middle”][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”68565″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

The dictionary of pollutants in cities:<\/h2>\n

  • SO2:<\/strong> sulfur dioxide<\/li>\n
  • NOx:<\/strong> nitrogen oxides<\/li>\n
  • NH3:<\/strong> ammonia<\/li>\n
  • NMVOC:<\/strong> non-metallic volatile organic compounds<\/li>\n
  • 5:<\/strong> particulate matter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    For each compound, a reduction target was assigned to reduce premature deaths caused by pollution.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

    Standards Regulations<\/h2>\n

    The regulations on the Standards of combustion vehicles<\/strong> are becoming increasingly stringent for manufacturers and average limit levels of CO2 \/ km emissions are defined which are gradually reduced from year to year.<\/p>\n
