{"id":52303,"date":"2021-12-09T08:00:20","date_gmt":"2021-12-09T07:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vpsolar.com\/?p=52303"},"modified":"2021-12-07T13:49:35","modified_gmt":"2021-12-07T12:49:35","slug":"vsn700-of-fimer-an-efficient-choice-for-monitoring-your-system","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vpsolar.com\/en\/vsn700-of-fimer-an-efficient-choice-for-monitoring-your-system\/","title":{"rendered":"VSN700 of FIMER: an efficient choice for monitoring your system"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>The Data Loggers of the VSN700 series from FIMER are devices that allow the customer to <strong>see detailed energy reports of his plant<\/strong>, thanks to the remote data acquisition.<\/p>\n<h2>Product operation<\/h2>\n<p>The VSN700 Data Logger has the function of collecting and analyzing the production data from any FIMER inverter or other supported devices and appropriately connected to the VSN.<\/p>\n<p>All information regarding performance and production is recorded in a database on the <strong>Aurora Vision\u00ae Plant Management Platform cloud<\/strong>, from here you can view all the data collected.<\/p>\n<p>On this platform the installer can initially register the VSN700 Data Logger, verifying that the device is transmitting correctly.<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently, the address for access to the Aurora Vision Plant Viewer interface can be sent to the end customer so that it can monitor his system.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, the installer will be able to access Aurora Vision&#8217;s professional Plant Portfolio Manager platform.<\/p>\n<p>The VSN700, including the Aurora Vision platform, has the following advantages:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Optimization<\/strong> of the economic return on the investment<\/li>\n<li><strong>Increased efficiency<\/strong> of the photovoltaic system<\/li>\n<li>Reduction in operating costs over the entire product life cycle<\/li>\n<li><strong>Data displayed<\/strong> in real-time and stored chronologically<\/li>\n<li><strong>Error notification<\/strong> functions and communication of any alarms<\/li>\n<li><strong>Remote access<\/strong> to all system data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>VSN700: which components it consists of<\/h2>\n<p>The VSN700 consists of various components such as a data <strong>logger\/gateway<\/strong>, an AC \/ DC power adapter and, optionally, a DIN rail mounting kit.<\/p>\n<p>The Data Logger is provided with a port for an RJ45 connection, through which it connects to a LAN network. Typically it <strong>connects to a DSL line<\/strong> or a cable modem via a router that allows Internet access.<\/p>\n<h2>Types of models<\/h2>\n<p>You can choose between 3 VSN700 Data Logger models, each with different features and supported devices:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>VSN700-01:<\/strong> monitors up to 5 single-phase and \/ or three-phase FIMER string inverters (Trio 5.8 \/ 7.5 \/ 8.5).<\/li>\n<li><strong>VSN700-03:<\/strong> monitors up to 10 FIMER string inverters, single-phase or three-phase, and an FIMER VSN800 weather station.<\/li>\n<li><strong>VSN700-05:<\/strong> monitors any FIMER B solar inverter and other FIMER and non-FIMER devices, if supported.
