{"id":42306,"date":"2017-08-30T08:30:47","date_gmt":"2017-08-30T06:30:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vpsolar.com\/?p=42306\/"},"modified":"2021-12-20T15:17:38","modified_gmt":"2021-12-20T14:17:38","slug":"sma-solar-technology-ag-growth-of-the-estimates-of-revenue-in-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vpsolar.com\/en\/sma-solar-technology-ag-growth-of-the-estimates-of-revenue-in-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"SMA Solar Technology AG: growth of the estimates of revenue in 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There are <strong>growing expectations<\/strong> on revenues and operating income of 2017 <strong>SMA Solar Technology AG<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>SMA&#8217;s Board of Directors estimates a net increase in sales<\/h2>\n<p>It has been estimated that <strong>revenues for the year 2017<\/strong> should reach between <strong>900 and 950 million Euro<\/strong>, well above the previous estimate of <strong>830 and 900 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to this, an increase in <strong>operating profit<\/strong> (EBITDA) is expected, estimated at between <strong>85 and 100 million Euros<\/strong> against the previous <strong>70 and 90<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Increased orders and demand<\/h2>\n<p>Amongst the factors that increase these forecasts are the <strong>increase in orders<\/strong> and the <strong>increase in demand<\/strong> in all parts of the world. These variations in demand are particularly felt in the <strong>Asia-Pacific area<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In the first half of 2017, orders had a positive development with a book-to-bill ratio of 1.4,&#8221; said <strong>Pierre-Pascal Urbon<\/strong>, <strong>CEO of SMA<\/strong>. &#8220;The order book increased by 25% in the first six months of the year, with a value of about <strong>\u20ac 673 million<\/strong> at June 30, 2017. Due to the high cash flow, net <strong>liquidity<\/strong> will rise to more than <strong>\u20ac 450 million<\/strong> \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>The half-yearly report for January-June 2017 was published on 10 August by SMA.<\/p>\n<h2>SMA Solar Technology AG: solid and reliable company<\/h2>\n<p>With a <strong>billion Euros of sales in 2016<\/strong>, the SMA Group is a <strong>world leader in the photovoltaic inverter market<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The photovoltaic inverter is an <strong>essential component of the plant<\/strong>, which makes it possible to transform energy produced from panels into energy usable by users.
