{"id":35887,"date":"2017-04-05T09:14:18","date_gmt":"2017-04-05T07:14:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vpsolar.com\/en\/?p=35887"},"modified":"2021-12-20T15:21:33","modified_gmt":"2021-12-20T14:21:33","slug":"solarwatt-gmbh-one-of-the-pioneers-of-solar-industry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vpsolar.com\/en\/solarwatt-gmbh-one-of-the-pioneers-of-solar-industry\/","title":{"rendered":"SolarWatt GmbH: one of the pioneers of solar industry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>SOLARWATT GmbH<\/strong> is <strong>one of the pioneers of the solar industry<\/strong>\u00a0 thanks of a successful restructuring in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>The company is based in Dresden and has responded to the changes in the solar market by witdrawing all solar modules from the mass market.<\/p>\n<p>SolarWatt now offers <strong>complete photovoltaic packages<\/strong> for <strong>residential<\/strong> customers and small <strong>businesses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mr Stefan Quandt<\/strong>, who has been involved with the company since 1998, has held a majority of its shares since early 2013.<\/p>\n<h2>Operating\u2019s capacity growing thanks also to the partnership<\/h2>\n<p>SOLARWATT GmbH now operates at <strong>full production capacity<\/strong>, which is partly thanks to its strong partnerships, including with BMW.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership is centred on the provision of <strong>photovoltaic solutions for roof-mounted installations and carports <\/strong>for customers of the Munich-based car maker.<\/p>\n<p>In 2015 SOLARWATT also acquired the French and Benelux divisions of <strong>Centrosolar Group<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Solutions for answer market requests<\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>increasing complexity in the energy efficiency field<\/strong> and the expansion of different energy sources, create an ongoing need for new solutions: SOLARWATT GmbH has developed the SolarWatt Energy Manager to address this market.<\/p>\n<p>The energy management system measures household energy flows and adjusts them to <strong>maximize the solar power usage as possible<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>It is a system based on the requirements of the final customer. All the <strong>data are presented in a simple way<\/strong> in the Energy Portal, the Energy Manager&#8217;s intuitive graphic interface.<\/p>\n<p>Once it has been setted, the <strong>system works automatically<\/strong> and can be controlled at any time via tablet, smartphone or desktop computer.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the <strong>Energy Manager can be adapted to individual user needs<\/strong> and can be extended by means of various additional modules.<\/p>\n<h2>SOLARWATT Glass-Glass modules<\/h2>\n<p>SOLARWATT GmbH is also offering the <strong>SolarWatt 60M<\/strong> high power module with an output of <strong>300 watt peak<\/strong> (Wp) since February 2016.<\/p>\n<p>The German solar pioneer is now the first company which produces a glass-glass model with these characteristics. SOLARWATT <strong>glass-glass modules are extremely durable<\/strong> and <strong>resistant<\/strong> to environmental influences.<\/p>\n<p>After a damp heat tests (<strong>DHT<\/strong>) lasted <strong>5,000 hours<\/strong> under intensified conditions, the 60 monocrystalline solar cells <strong>lost less than one percent of their output<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SOLARWATT GmbH is one of the pioneers of the solar industry\u00a0 thanks of a successful restructuring in 2012.
